Beastie Boys Reveal Tour Dates, New Single

The Beastie Boys have announced a series of preliminary tour dates in support of their forthcoming album, To the 5 Boroughs. Currently, the trio has only announced a handful of dates, although a full-blown world tour is said to be in the works. The group will begin the tour on Wednesday with a Las Vegas performance to be taped for MTV2's 2$Bill program before moving on to a series of radio festivals-- most of which appear titled for a lowest-common-denominator demographic-- such as California's Live105 BFD and KROQ Weenie Roast, New Jersey's Y100 Feztival, and the KROCK's 8th annual Dysfunctional Family Picnic in New York City. They also plan to play the MuchMusic video awards ceremony, as well as one of two dates at a Japanese festival in August. Kick it:

To the 5 Boroughs hits stores on June 15th, if you needed a reminder, though the Beasties already dropped the record's first single, "Ch-Check It Out" last week. The single has appeared in several formats, with varying tracklists, though among the assorted bonus tracks are the usual instrumental and a cappella versions, a non-album cut titled "And Then I", a video for the single, and most notably, a remix from hotshot hip-hop producer Just Blaze.
