Older smut peddlers to sell merch at most shows

He's only been on the road a day, but hardworkin' A.C. Newman (aka Carl Newman of The New Pornographers) has expanded his summer tour with nine more shows, bringing his brand of sugary, summery pop to fine cities like Winnepeg, Minneapolis, and Montreal (to name but a few). Newman kicked off the tour last night at Neumo's in Seattle, and is presently starting his grand parade down the West Coast before heading east with shows all over the U.S. and Canada in support of his Matador solo debut, The Slow Wonder. But you know all this, because you read the news here every day, right? Just get to the new dates, you say?

Well, fine. According to Matador, Newman plans to follow his current summer jaunt with a trip to Europe this fall for some more lives dates, which means it's looking like the Pornographers aren't heading back into the studio anytime soon. Oh well. Soak up the summer rays while they're plentiful:
