Let it never be said that Pitchfork skimps on covering the activities of your favorite semen-as-metaphor lyricists. The next time Xiu Xiu's Jamie Stewart upgrades his cable service package, or Jeff Mangum does... well, anything at all, we'll be in the van with a notepad, and that's a promise. But until Mr. Fabulous Muscles gets a craving for Da Ali G Show re-runs, we bring you the latest on noted "corporate cum"-rejectors Pedro the Lion.

Still riding the wave from the May release of Achilles Heel, Pedro the Lion are currently finishing up a tour with John Vanderslice and taking a deep breath (and a couple weeks off), before heading off to Vancouver to kick off a two-week stint on the road with openers Tilly & The Wall and The Western States. This jaunt, sadly, will stay within the confines of the latter band's geographical namesake, a feat unmatched since The Pacific Ocean's disastrous 1998 "Snorkels & Sea Life" tour.
