The Caribbean Embark on Summer Tour
No more love on the run!

Washington D.C. pop band The Caribbean are heading out on tour in support of their new EP, William of Orange, just released via Hometapes Records. The five-song EP is the follow-up to last year's Tomlab-released full-length History's First Know-It-All, and is full of beautiful multi-instrument melodies augmented by electronic textures (or so I'm told). The band will be hitting both coasts, but not a whole lot in between, so if you're interested in checking them out, go ahead and make a weekend out of it and hit the beach or something.

The short tour does feature several noteworthy concert pairings-- the Baltimore date finds the band playing with fellow D.C. scenesters The Beauty Pill, fronted by Chad Clark, formerly of Smart Went Crazy, a band that also featured The Caribbean drummer Tony Dennison. Additionally, two dates in late August will see the band teaming with motherfucking Xiu Xiu. Fabulous. Muscles. Dates:
