Mouse on Mars to Tour in Support of New Album

As previously reported back like four months ago, German post-techno duo Mouse on Mars are gearing up to release their eighth full-length album, Radical Connector, on August 24th via Thrill Jockey. The album, like pretty much all of their releases, marks a bold departure from their past album-- this time out, they're headed in a much dancier direction, with weird cut-up electro-pop and vocal performances.

Of course, among the duo's many art projects and journeys into the unknown, Andi Toma and Jan St. Werner still find time to tour every now and again. And, to support the new album, the space-traveling rodents are preparing to embark on an extensive jaunt that kicks off next Saturday in K�ln, Germany at the Tanzbrunnen venue. There are but four dates scheduled for Deutschland; after that, they'll be off to lovely North America, where they'll play the remaining 29 dates as a full live band, supported by Junior Boys and Ratatat.
