Les Savy Fav Tour U.S., Split a 7" with Pretty Girls

It's a sorry state of affairs when you can go to a rock 'n' roll concert and know that there's no way the frontman is going to cockslap you. The element of danger that stems from the possibility of a painful and embarrassing public wang-whip is what's been sorely missing from punk rock for the last few years, in this reporter's humble opinion-- which is why Les Savy Fav shows should be attended in droves, and why this announcement of their upcoming tour should leave you shaking.

That maniacal, wild-eyed firecrotch Tim Harrington is gyrating across the U.S. this fall and you'd best all be there. And word has it that lucky Australian motherfuckers will even get to see the Washington art-punk quartet hobnobbing with not-so-strange bedfellows Pretty Girls Make Graves in November, though those dates are still tentative. In other news, Les Savy Fav and those aforementioned Pretty Girls are splitting a split seven-inch on Frenchkiss Records, which should reportedly be recorded this fall. In the meantime, and prior to the November Aussie tour with Les Savy Fav, PGMG are wrapping up a European jaunt (it's a jaunt when it happens in Europe) before heading out again in October with Death Cab for Cutie, who somehow manage to wriggle their way into nearly every story on the newswire. Those dates, however, are unconfirmed as well.
