Boyracer Tour Europe, Prep Four (4) New Releases

Since re-emerging in 2001 with the retrospective Boyfuckingracer, indie/jangle-pop/twee motherfuckers Boyracer have released five records. This would be a lot for pretty much anyone else, but the incredibly prolific band-- still drenched in feedback and sweetness from the days in the early 90s when they were the only ones on Sarah Records who knew any swear words-- are about to pick up the pace with four new releases (on four different labels, no less) and a European tour.

So if you're a fan, you're in for a kick-ass fall. We'll start out with the big one: A full 23-track album, Happenstance, which will be out October 26th on Happy Happy Birthday to Me Records. The tracklist, if you think you can handle it:

Also available now is an EP on Foxy Boy Recordings titled Absence Makes the Heart Grow Harder. And rounding out the new release bonanza are two vinyl-only releases with eight songs each: Yorkshire Soul on Swedish label Yellow Mica (on pink vinyl 7"), and Fool Around with Boyracer on Parapop, which was released earlier this month.
