Shoplifting, Replicator Latest Victims of Gear Theft

In an unfortunate case of bandname-related coincidence, Seattle band Shoplifting, who recently signed to Kill Rock Stars, had all of their guitars and drum hardware stolen out of their trailer in Queens earlier this week. The band was lucky in the sense that the actual drums, as well as the members' personal belongings, weren't in the trailer, but as the group is only about a third of the way through their current tour, the situation is obviously problematic. Anyone with any information regarding the theft is asked to please contact the band and the police. The list of stolen items:

1960's Hagstrom (black with an input jack made from a bike reflector)
1990's Fender Jazz bass (purple with white pick guard)
1990's Fender Telecaster (sunburst with dirty white pick guard)
1990's Fender Stratocaster (white)
Cymbal stand
Ride cymbal
High-hat stand
High-hat cymbals
Snare stand
Drum stool

And the bad news doesn't stop there-- Oakland-based Replicator was also recently the victim of gear theft. Sometime during the morning of August 27th, the band's van was ransacked. The van, which was parked in front of 5437 NE 28th Avenue in Portland, had the following items removed:

Mid 90s Fender Jag-Stang (blue with tortoise shell pick guard and rosewood fret board neck)
Imitation Fender Stratocaster (silver with rosewood fret board neck and Duct tape covering missing neck pickup)
Roland Juno 6 Keyboard (one broken key, bent pitch controller joystick)

Once again, anyone with any info regarding the missing equipment, which can also be seen at Replicator's website in use during better times, is encouraged to contact the band and the authorities. However, despite the lack of instruments, the band is still planning to embark on a U.S. tour that will keep them on the road throughout most of September. The dates:
