Nas Reveals Details of Forthcoming Double-Album

When we last checked in on him, venerable New York rapper Nasir Jones was celebrating the 10-year anniversary of his landmark debut Illmatic, and his 2003 jam "I Can" was being looped ad nauseum on every single fucking "serious" MTV "documentary." But now Nas is polishing off a 22-track double-album, Street's Disciple, due November 30th via Ill Will/Columbia Records.

Chances are, you've probably heard a bit of the new record already: "Thief's Theme"-- which awesomely utilizes a sample from Iron Butterfly's "Inna Gadda Da Vida"-- hit the airways months ago, and has just been followed by the album's heartwarming official first single, "Bridging the Gap", featuring Nas' father, veteran musician Olu Dara.

People who (we assume) aren't related to Nas also make appearances on Street's Disciple-- including Maxwell, Kelis, Ludacris, Busta Rhymes, Lyfe, and AZ. Besides producing much of the album, Q-Tip, Scott Storch, Salaam Remi, and L.E.S. chipped in around the studio and get production credits. Tracklist:
