Multilingual Berlin-based funksters Stereo Total are getting ready to follow their impressive 2002 reissue Musique Automatique. According to punknews.org, the band is prepping a new album, Do the Bambi, which will be released stateside via Kill Rock Stars on January 25.

Specific details, including a tracklist, have yet to surface, though the band's official website is reporting the record will feature "almost one hour of crazy sounds and with very special guests. There will be a Double LP!" So there you go. As an added bonus to us God-fearing Americans, the U.S. version of Do the Bambi will reportedly contain more songs in English than on previous Stereo Total releases. Soon after Bambi's release, the band expects to ship out a series of remixes that will appear on special singles.

Finally, and we daresay, most importantly, the band is calling upon their fans to send in pictures of Bambi to post in a promotional gallery on their website. At last, an excuse to break out that sultry fawn tattoo on the small of your ass! Huzzah!
