Pitchfork: Johnny Cash DVD to Be Issued in March

Nearly a year after his sudden death amidst a revival in his legendary and tenured career, Johnny Cash is the subject of a new DVD reissue. The Bob Elfstron film Johnny Cash! The Man, His World, His Music is set for re-release on March 8th. The long out-of-print film, which recently aired on the Ovation television network, contains many a rare feature, including interviews held between the years 1968-1969, concert footage, and a peek inside the country legend's life in the studio and home.

Although Cash remains the unmitigated star of the show, other famous faces appear throughout, including (natch) Cash's wife, June Carter Cash, The Carter Sisters, Carl Perkins, and Bob Dylan. Remastered in Dolby Digital stereo, the song list for the DVD is like so:
