Sleater-Kinney Reveal Details of Their Sub Pop Debut

Following the mega-merger of indie rock icons Sleater-Kinney and Sub Pop Records back in November, details have begun to slip our way regarding the band's debut for the Seattle-based label. We reported that omnipotent producer Dave Fridmann-- who has worked with the Flaming Lips, Weezer, Mogwai, and so many more-- was attached to work on the album. And now, we have some names to go with those faces; specifically the names of the tracks. The LP-- the title of which is not yet official-- is released on May 24. It will contain songs with such titles as:

01 The Fox
02 Wilderness
03 What's Mine is Yours
04 Jumpers
05 Modern Girl
06 Entertain
07 Rollercoaster
08 Steep Air
09 Let's Call It Love
10 Night Light

According to their website, Sleater-Kinney will play a "few shows in the down time before the record is released", and following the LP's appearance at retail outlets, the trio will be "touring across the country (and eventually overseas), playing the usual sized venues that can accommodate everyone." A few of those places:

02-14 Bellingham, WA - Western Washington University
02-25 Bellingham, WA - Night Light Lounge
02-26 Vancouver, British Columbia - The Commodore Ballroom
03-02 New York, NY - Mercury Lounge
03-03 New York, NY - Mercury Lounge
03-16 Austin, TX - SXSW Festival
