Graham Coxon Schedules First U.S. Solo Tour

Erstwhile Blur guitarist Graham Coxon is getting set for his first ever U.S. tour-- at least by himself-- and can you believe it? Dude's got five full-length solo albums under his belt (the fifth being 2004's Happiness In Magazines, recorded with former Blur producer Stephen Street) and he's never been to the States? Who does he think he is, Johnny Depp?

Anyway, Mr. Coxon certainly has a full plate in front of him here in the 05. Before heading out on tour with label-mates 22-20s and the Golden Republic in March, Coxon will headline the NME Awards Show on February 18 at the Hammersmith Palais, and he just recently kicked up some altruism with an appearance at a tsunami benefit gig in Camden. And hey, even if these shows aren't technically for a good cause, let's show him some good old fashioned Blue State love as he hits the shore running:
