Pitchfork: Le Tigre Announce European Tour Dates

The backwash of the Great Disco-Punk Hubbub of Aught-Three has left Le Tigre still the biggest presence between the Feminist Electronic Punk dividers at your local Best Buy. Their much-pondered leap to Strummer/Universal turned out not to be so controversial after all, even if 2004's This Island did gloss over some of the abrasiveness of the band's sound (and politics). It was still a Le Tigre record (with all the good and ill that implies).

So what's next for the biggest lady badasses since Pinky Tuscadero and her Pinkettes? Well, according to NME, "After Dark" will be the next single drawn from This Island, out March 21. Meanwhile, the band has just returned from a five-date Australian adventure, and later this month they'll head out for a short U.S. jaunt before heading overseas for the better part of March and April.
