Enon Schedule Tour to Support Rarities CD

Enon have labored in relative obscurity for several years for a variety of reasons. On the one hand, their gleeful genre-hopping has subtle charms that might have unfairly lost them the attention of shallow listeners. Oh, heartless world! On the other hand, they chose kind of an unmemorable name for their band, and they seem to have a fetish for migraine-inducing cover art. So maybe it's not entirely your fault if you haven't checked them out.

Potential latecomers to Enon can now relax, knowing that on February 22, the band will release Lost Marbles and Exploded Evidence, described on their website as "an undefinitive collection of things the common man (who does not have a record player or check our website regularly or check every compilation we've been on) needs to be hearing." The 16 rarities included were remixed to form "something that may sound more like a cohesive record than any of our regular full lengths." Which, though cool, isn't really a hard thing to do.
