Pitchfork: Phoenix to Tour U.S. Behind Live LP

Ever get that not-so-French feeling? Ya know...down there? If so, we might just have the solution: Parisian pop quartet, Phoenix. The crew recently released a 10-track live album stateside, titled Live! Thirty Days Ago on February 22 via Astralwerks and now they're gearing up for a U.S. tour.

The band lost their U.S. cherries last December, following the release of their 80s-pop-powered Alphabetical. On the road, the band's light sound gets a sturdy galvanization with the additions of Lawrence Clais on drums and French electronics guru Robin Coudert (aka Rob) on keyboards.
