Minus the Bear to Tour in April

Minus the Bear, Seattle's indie rock supergroup who sport song titles like "I Lost All My Money at the Cock Fights" and "Thanks For the Killer Game of Criscoš Twister," are braving the open road this spring to attend the Alternative Press/Vans US tour. Other acts following the Washington quintet throughout the fourteen date excursion include such obscurities as Gratitude, Honorary Title, and Spitalfield. Beginning in Providence, R.I., and working their way across the U.S. through small venues to end in the happiest place on earth, Anaheim, Calif., the dates look something like this:

Along with the upcoming tour, Minus the Bear recently re-signed with Suicide Squeeze Records, which supported MTB until they switched over to Arena Rock Recordings for their third album, 2004's They Make Beer Commercials Like This. Their forth album, presently untitled, is being recorded for a Suicide Squeeze release on August 23.
