Pitchfork: Blood Brothers to Tour North America

Blood Brothers, in case you were not aware, is a 1982 musical written by Willy Russell. It's the touching and tragic story of a poor Liverpool single mother who is forced to separate her twin boys, giving one to her rich boss' wife. Years later, the brothers reunite and become close friends, sparking questions about the impact of nature vs. nurture, before eventually meeting a cruel fate. Petula Clark performed the play on broadway and across the United States in the mid-90s, and recorded the international cast album with David and Shaun Cassidy.

Meanwhile, 20-some odd years later, Blood Brothers is also the name of a noisy band that is performing an extensive North American tour in support of their fourth album, Crimes.
