Once upon a time, in the the late 90s and early 00s, a band called Modest Mouse toured the land, stopping to play in your hometown. It was you, your friends, and the Modest faithful selling out the shows, singing along. And then, in the spring of 2004, there was "Float On"-- and it was good. The people rejoiced, packing music halls across the world, and even your parents nodded along to that catchy tune. No matter how large the fanbase and venues grew, the band still would come to those towns often and unjustly neglected by their rock brethren. Fear not, people of Billings, Fargo, and Sioux Falls: Modest Mouse haven't forgotten you.
