Sometimes, when I'm looking at tour schedules, I find Austin, Texas and see that very few artists are playing there. Poor, poor Austin-- no huge festivals, no cool venues. Oh wait, South by Southwest and Austin City Limits, two of the biggest events around...my bad. Quit hoggin' all the talent, guys!

Austin City Limits Festival, held September 23-25, closes out the summer festival season while bringing in the fall. Some fest visitors tape episodes of the long-running "Austin City Limits", which is broadcast on PBS. Some of last year's television highlights included performances by Wilco, Pixies, Modest Mouse, and Bright Eyes.

In response to fans complaining about last year's festival being overcrowded, daily capacity at Austin's Zilker Park has been reduced. But you don't care about any of this, all you care about is the lineup. Check it out:
