Dinosaur Jr. Re-Release Single, Tour

"Just don't let me fuck up will you, 'cause when I need a friend it's still you..." Apparently, J Mascis, Lou Barlow, and Murph practice what they preach because for the first time in more than a decade, they're back on the road together for a summer tour of Europe, the U.S., and Japan.

But before they cross the heartland at various clubs and at Lollapalooza in Chicago, the group will re-release the "Freak Scene" single on June 6. According to NME.com, the single, out on record label Sweet Nothing, will feature B-side "Bulbs of Passion" (the last track recorded for Dinosaur) and new artwork by Maura Jasper, a video artist who created album art for Dinosaur Jr.'s second album, Your Living All Over Me, as well as for their latest reissues on Merge Records.
