Pitchfork: Modest Mouse Announce More Dates

As of a couple weeks ago, Pitchfork's team of operatives charged with gaining Isaac Brock's confidence by stroking his ego could only report seven shows for Modest Mouse's latest tour, but now, now we got the goods. Not only have they extended the tour through most of June, but their label (Epic) has announced that Camper Van Beethoven will ride along for the tour. And don't feel obliged to take a summer road trip to see Modest Mouse if your town isn't yet on this tour list, for Epic assures everyone: "MORE DATES TO BE ANNOUNCED." Ah, monolithic corporate lullabies in all caps, so sweet to the ear. Then again, the boys from Issaquah are known to sell out shows pretty quickly these days, so you might want to jump on the anchor-weighted hot-air balloon while you can. Dates:
