Alias & Ehren Ready New Album

As one of the original Anticon members, Alias is almost certified to defy expectation. Whether that's always a good thing, well, we'll leave that up to your ears. On August 30, he'll give us all another chance in what can only be described as a family affair. Seriously, I'm bound by professional ethics and press releases to report that Alias' younger brother Ehren has been given equal billing for the new album, whose title is derived from their grandmother's name, Lillian. Ehren's no slouch in the studio either, but he's more of the live instrumentation mould, capable of playing alto and soprano sax, clarinet, and flute. So yeah, probably not what you expected Alias to be doing to follow up 2003's Muted but, next to composing hip-hoppish electronica, that's what he does best. These tracks:

Eman Ruosis Iht
Back and Forth
Lillian
Sunfuzz
Miso Stomp
Ladders
Blurry Edges
52nd & West
Most Important Things
Moonfuzz
Narrowed Iris
Cobblestoned Waltz
Netting Applause
