Pitchfork: Annie Announces DJ Tour, Rapture Remix

Annie has announced a short set of U.S. DJ gigs in New York, Chicago, and California. The "Anniemix" tour will feature Annie, obviously, and Timo Kaukolampi. They'll both be spinning and Annie will rock the mic. Venues include Chicago's Sonotheque, New York's Hiro Ballroom, and Cinespace in Los Angeles.

Before those shows, Annie will be doing a few DJ stops in London, followed by a few dates where she will open for Saint Etienne in the UK.

In other Annie news, in an interview with About.com, she revealed that the Rapture have remixed "Me Plus One", but no details on the release of that track are available. "The Rapture did the remix for 'Me Plus One' and I think that's really, really good. The Rapture is one of my favorite bands so I was really pleased that they did a remix."
