Pitchfork: Stars Tour North America, Europe

Broken Social Scene may have kept a low profile while its members went off to take part in various side projects, but don't think that their current burst of activity (with a dozen shows scheduled across Europe in the next few weeks) means those side projects are going away. Stars, for example, have a busy summer planned, doing their own tour to fill in the gaps when some of them aren't off playing with Broken Social Scene. These shows come as Stars' Set Yourself On Fire continues to gain popular momentum despite a 2004 release in Canada and several months already elapsed on U.S. shelves. Very patient, those Canadians.
