Lou Reed to Give Spoken-Word Performance

As his 2005 European tour winds to a close, legendary street poet Lou Reed has recently added a one-off, spoken-word performance in ScotlandÊto his remaining schedule. A post on Reed's official website announced that the one-night show, dubbed An Evening of Spoken Word, will be held on Monday, May 16 at the Reid Hall at Edinburgh University (that's in Edinburgh, Scotland, kids). Tickets for the event (which starts at 9 p.m.) are £20, and can be purchased through www.ticketweb.co.uk, or by calling 0870 903 3444. And for those those that missed our last update, Reed's remaining European dates are as follows:
