Pitchfork: Sons and Daughters to Release Debut LP

Last year, Scotland-based indie folk-rockers Sons and Daughters made quite a splash with their EP Love the Cup, which fellow countrymen Franz Ferdinand fancied so much they asked the band to tour with them. This summer, Sons and Daughters look to fulfill the promise of those first impressions when they release their debut LP, The Repulsion Box, in August through Domino Records. The album will feature 10 tracks, and the first single will be "Dance Me In", not that the rest of the songs deserve any less attention:

According to the band's PR folks, Sons and Daughters will tour with the Decemberists in the fall. No tour dates have been confirmed for that, but the band has quite a summer schedule lined up nonetheless. Dates:
