Pitchfork: Kings of Leon Add More Dates

It wasn't supposed to be like this. Oh no, not at all, y'all. When the Followill siblings (and their cousin) initially boogied onto the scene, few gave Kings of Leon much of a chance beyond the initial buzz surrounding their fuzzed-up cherub faces, canny evangelical-background press bio, and their brand of enthusiastic but not exactly enthralling, southern rock. But here we are, a couple of years removed from their big-selling debut, and the "Southern Strokes" have the new album Aha Shake Heartbreak to plug at every stop on their current tour, which just keeps getting longer.

Before popping over to England for a few arena shows, then hooking up with the Secret Machines for North American dates, Tennessee's young hirsute sons of a preacher man will polish off their stint supporting U2's latest traveling medicine show. And although your love for Him is infinite, eternal and unchangeable, you may be out of luck if you desire to see that double bill, as all the U2/Kings of Leon dates listed here are sold out.
