Pitchfork: Keren Ann Announces Tour Plans

The Caesarian-born, part Dutch/Javanese/Russian/Israeli enigma known as Keren Ann Zeidel, or simply Keren Ann to music fiends, will finally have to get used to more spotlight time in North America as she is about to embark on a lengthy tour starting June 6 in Philadelphia. However, there should be little reason to doubt her coping skills-- after all, she's been nominated for numerous Victoires de la Musique awards (the French Grammy equivalent) and her gorgeous voice adorns two solo French albums, two solo (mostly) English releases, the Lady & Bird side project with Iceland's Bang Gang figurehead Bardi Johannson, and plenty of guest vocal appearances. Additionally, she has collaborated with France's talented Benjamin Biolay on many projects as well as legend Henri Salvador, co-writing 5 songs on his Chambre Avec Vue (Room With a View) "comeback" album. So yeah, don't expect stage fright to be much of a problem for this elegant pro.

Keren Ann will make an appearance on CBS' "Early Show" on June 4, followed by a healthy heap of North American dates (including a few perfectly paired with songbird Juana Molina). Then she will rendezvous back to her part-time Paris home for a few scattered dates:
