On the heels of its release, Sleater-Kinney are ready to take The Woods on the road throughout North America. It all begins tonight in the land of Sub Pop (Seattle), and for just over a month the band will be rocking venues from coast to coast. Currently, the tour is scheduled to run through early July. S-K's official site says they will tour the U.S. once again in the fall, hitting cities they missed the first time around.

Having just spent some time in Europe prior the album's release, Sleater-Kinney will return to the British Isles at the end of August for some festival spots and a few headlining gigs. Before the conclusion of the North American tour in June, they will perform on the "Late Show With David Letterman" on June 27. Can Paul Shaffer keep up?
