Pitchfork: R. Kelly Reloads With New Album

If you haven't heard the "Trapped in the Closet" radio drama, please stop reading, visit R. Kelly's website, and tune in-- because it's nothing short of awesome. The five-part tale of an adulterous encounter has enough twists and turns to leave you dizzy. Each part has the same musical backdrop as Kelly spins his yarn over each three-plus minute track. Did we mention it's awesome?

But for those of you who aren't patient enough to hear each piece on the radio and can't tolerate streaming audio, you won't have to wait much longer to get your hands on a copy. On July 5, Jive will release TP.3 Reloaded, which will contain all five parts of "Trapped in the Closet" at the end of the album.

As one would expect, Reloaded is loaded with sexual content. With song titles like "Sex in the Kitchen", "Hit It Till the Mornin'", and "Sex Weed", this album will be most useful in your bedroom stereo. Or maybe even your car stereo. Hey, we critique music, not your game.

Helping R. Kelly set the mood will be the Game, Snoop Dogg, Twista, and Elephant Man, among others. Also, for those of you who prefer television soap operas to radio dramas, Kelly has co-directed and is starring in a 16-minute video of "Trapped in the Closet" that will be packaged with the album on a DVD.
