With the Pitchfork-curated Intonation Music Festival now only a month away, we find ourselves unable to resist adding even more bands to the already monster lineup. On top of the already berserk roster, which includes indie heavyweights the Decemberists, Tortoise, Les Savy Fav, the Go! Team, Broken Social Scene, Death from Above 1979, Deerhoof, Xiu Xiu, Four Tet, the Hold Steady, and a rare Stateside appearance from Swedish psych-rockers Dungen (who, incidentally, will also be DJing), we're proud to announce yet another band (Thunderbirds Are Now!) and two killer DJs (Diplo and El-P).

It all happens at Chicago's Union Park over two gorgeous summer days-- Saturday, July 16 and Sunday, July 17-- and we probably needn't remind you that tickets are a mere $15 per day (we also have a limited number of two-day passes at a discounted rate of $22), but we will anyway. Kids under 10 will be admitted free, since they aren't really people. (However, subjecting them to the maniac rantings of Les Savy Fav's Tim Harrington is purely at your own risk.) Plus, the shit ain't only bands: Biz3 Publicity will also be presenting a DJ tent at which Will Oldham, Jean Grae, Diplo, and El-P have signed on to spin the hits, a massive record fair courtesy of WLUW, a variety of food, clothing, art vendors, and secure bike parking on site.
