Mouse on Mars Live Album Out in Fall

Live performances of electronic music can be painful. So hopefully you'll pardon us if buying a live album by an electronic band sounds kind of like asking your dentist to pull out extra teeth so you can keep some as souvenirs.

Still, pulling this off might not be beyond Mouse on Mars, who spent much of 2004 on various roads around the world bringing beats to the starving masses, and then edited scads of tape from the tour down to the one-disc live04, out on Sonig in October. Each record comes with a special bonus booklet that has 20 pages of photos. Special photos, presumably. Like we said, it won't be out for several months, but for now you can gnaw on the tracklist:
