ATP Events to Feature Belle & Sebastian, Stooges

The organizers at ATP have really mastered the idea of concert as a unique event. After years keeping us interested by staging festivals curated by our favorite musicians and non-musicians, they'll be introducing a new theme this fall: inviting bands to select an LP from their own catalogue and play it in its entirety. So far, they've left no era untouched, having confirmed acts as diverse as everyone from Iggy Pop & the Stooges to M�m. These shows are single-evening concerts, which, if nothing else, will afford people the opportunity to spend all of their money on All Tomorrow's Parties in smaller increments. The shows so far:

And while we were busy thinking about the awesomeness of our own Intonation Festival, ATP confirmed the Gris-Gris and Hella for the Mars Volta-curated festival, which takes place December 2-4 at Camber Sands Holiday Camp, East Sussex, London. Other acts include the Kills, Les Savy Fav, Blonde Redhead, Battles, Beans, the Fucking Champs, Damo Suzuki (of Can), Michael Rother (of Neu!), the Locust, Acid Mothers Temple, Mr. Quintron, Jaga Jazzist, Diamanda Galas, Cinematic Orchestra, High on Fire, Weird War, Year Future, 400 Blows, Subtitle, and Kill Me Tomorrow.
