Ryan Adams Cancels, Adds Tour Dates

Ryan Adams has bad luck touring in the UK. A couple years ago in Liverpool Adams fell off stage, destroying his wrist and was unable to play or perform for quite some time. Now, he's come down with a severe ear infection which has forced him to cancel the rest of his European tour, which was to end in mid-July. In the meantime, he hasn't been able to leave the UK because he is unable to fly.

When Adams does return to touring, however, it will be in Colorado for two gigs with ex-Grateful Dead player Phil Lesh. This isn't surpising given the sounds of his most recent album, Cold Roses. Dude clearly has a plethora of influences, as he keeps changing his sound. Focus!

Meanwhile, the NME reports that Adams' second album of the year, Jacksonville City Nights will be released on September 13.
