Europe's sweetheart Annie is preparing a collectible, vinyl-only series to be released throughout this summer by 679 Recordings. The series will be culled from remixes of Anniemal tracks by a number of hott producers and remix artists. Helping Annie pick and choose the remixes is DJ/producer Erol Alkan. Of the series, he says they aimed to "create a series of vinyl featuring the remixing talents of producers who are setting my dancefloor on fire. There's also the benefit of being first to have these mixes."

Some upcoming remixes will be done by Joakim and the Rapture, as well as many more. They will be available through 679, as well as on iTunes. Available now from 679's website are 20 (!) 12" test pressings of "Happy Without You" remixes by Sebastien and Riton. Though there's no telling if there will be any left by the time you read this. But you can get a cool Annie canvas bag or an Anniemal vest! Unless we snatch those up first. Here's the tracklist for the first 12".
