Of Montreal Plan Late Summer Tour

Of Montreal: Are they the zaniest kids to come out of Athens, Ga., since the B-52's? Kevin Barnes and his posse are heading out on a second string of dates in support of his latest work, The Sunlandic Twins, which came out April 12 via Polyvinyl Records.

The LP-- a dancy, electro-fused change of pace from its psych-pop predecessor Satanic Panic in the Attic-- has also yielded a new single of sorts. The Kangaroo Alliance (aka Lauren Gregg and Craig Sheldon) created an animated music video for "Wraith Pinned to the Mist", and got it played on MTV2's "Subterranean" on June 26.
