Bloc Party Continue Work On New Album

Break out your dancing shoes, because one of the best new bands of the past two years is already recording another album. NME.com reports that England's Bloc Party, already on a seemingly endless world tour, has no less than 25 songs in various stages of being.

Guitarist Russell Lissack tells the online mag that the Party have "recorded two [possible] songs but we still need to mix them and finish them, so we're not sure which one's going to be the single just yet." The contenders thus far are "Hero" and "Two More Years".

All these songs to come, all these singles in the works, and Bloc Party haven't even finished releasing singles off their first driving, kick-ass album, Silent Alarm. The newest, "The Pioneers", is out this week in the UK. They're recording their new album at Jacobs Studios in Surrey, England. And they're in the middle of an extensive world tour that'll finish in London in October. Where do these guys find the time? Dates:
