Pitchfork: The Narrator Hit the Road

Chicago punks the Narrator continue to dodge that stinging report card tag, "Does Not Work Up to Potential." They followed up their lackluster debut EP Youth City Fire, with a strong longplayer, Such Triumph, released June 28th on Flameshovel records. Now the band is set to unleash their notoriously fiery live show on an unsuspecting East Coast. Along for the ride will be brethren Aloha and labelmates Make Believe. Bear in mind, this is the same act our own Nick Sylvester once heralded as "the most dangerous concert I've ever been to-- and possibly the best." That's right, mid-set covers of "The Electric Slide" could result in injury, embarrassment, and boogieing-down. Oh yeah, this is called the "Siblings with Benefits" tour. Eww!
