Pitchfork: Rogue Wave to Release New EP, LP

If you're a fan of Rogue Wave, we've got news for you, most of it splendid, some not so much. Since we hate to end on a downer, we'll start with the bad: Remember when we last reported on the band and told you that their new album, Descended Like Vultures was nearly finished and set to hit shelves on September 27? Well, turns out that was only half true, as the album's release has been pushed back a whole month to October 25. That didn't hurt so much, did it?

Now the good news: If you need something to occupy you during those 28 extra days, the band has a solution. You can get a taste of the new material via the 10:1 EP, which comes out August 23. The EP sports four songs, not the least of which is "10:1", the first single off the new album. Also included are non-album tracks "Interruptions", Wait For It", and "Crush the Camera". If you're still jonesing for the album after that, you can imitate generations of music fans before you and meditate on the tracklist:
