The Stills Shuffle Roster for Forthcoming Vice Release

You know, for a band called the Stills, these guys sure can't stay in one place. Case in point: Guitarist Greg Paquet has amicably left the group. As a result, drummer Dave Hamelin (the band's primary songwriter) is pulling a Phil Collins and stepping out from behind the kit and will be playing guitar and splitting vocal duties with Tim Fletcher. Ex-Sea Ray member Collin Brooks will handle the drumming for this tour. And if that's not enough of a shake-up for you, Liam O'Neill, the band's touring keyboardist, has been upgraded to a full-time member. Someone call the Nobel committee-- we're rocking some chaos theory!

Naturally, this butterfly hasn't just been flapping its wings for the hell of it. The line-up change comes in preperation for the band's new, still-untitled album due out early next year on Vice Records. Word on the street is that the record is nearly complete and a huge departure for the group. But you don't have to take our word for it (assuming you're Canadian); they'll be testing the new stuff out on their upcoming tour. The Stills will be joined on the road by some of their pals over at Arts & Crafts like Jason Collett, Apostle of Hustle, and Most Serene Republic. They've also found some time to play a few shows with fellow Canadians Sloan:
