Okay, so maybe it's not the ovary-tugger that will finally replace your dog-eared copy of The Sweetest Thing, but I'll be damned if the film's soundtrack won't be rockin' the backseats of some Volkswagens this fall.

Featuring an impressive lineup of tracks (both rare and previously released) from your alt-faves, including ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Our Dead, UNKLE, Kasabian, Oasis, the Bees, Dirty Vegas, and Zero 7, the disc is most notable for "Playground Superstar"-- the latest recording from resurrected Manchester dance heroes the Happy Mondays.
