ADULT. Beg for Trouble on New Album, Tour
Adam Lee Miller, Nicola Kuperus and Samuel Consiglio (from kindred spirits Tamion 12 Inch) will begin touring October 19 for their new album, Gimmie Trouble, which is in stores today, October 11, courtesy of Thrill Jockey. Britt Daniel, watch your back. Tracklist:
Gimmie Trouble
Bad Ideas
Scare Up the Birds
Thought I Choked
Strange Mistakes
Disappoint the Youth
In My Nerves
Turn Into Fever
Helen Bach
Still Waiting
Lovely Love
Seal Me In
If you're expecting to hear hands to phones and monotones, think again. On their third full-length, ADULT.'s sound has evolved to a delightfully menacing, if not psychotic, assortment of punk electro rants and howls about love, life, boiling blood, crushed skulls, and even a lady named Helen Bach. They claim the elusive Helen (whose name conveniently sounds like "hell and back") is real, insane and lives upstate in the woods. Sure. Regardless, get ready to have some fun. Because this is the most fun they said they've had to date. Which, since this is ADULT. we're talking about, might be considerably less fun than, say, the Darkness are having right now.
