Vanderslice, Atmosphere to play Orlando Anti Pop fest

Anti Pop's mission is supporting underground and independent music, and a series of panel discussions on October 22 will deal with issues affecting the indie community. Panelists include Kork Agency owner Christian Bernhardt, Rhymesayers Entertainment VP Jason "J-Bird" Cook, Vandals bassist/Kung Fu Records honcho/amateur bullfighter/radio personality Joe Escalante, and, why not, Lou Barlow.

There will also be plenty of local artists playing during the six-day festival, but that doesn't necessarily mean you'll witness any people in mouse costumes or choreographed moves. Here's the planned itinerary for the Anti Pop festival:
