Andreas Tilliander Clicks Across North America

Andreas Tilliander has a big fear of commitment. Now, we're not sure what his personal life is like (for all we know, he's been married for years), but the Swedish electronic dance music producer refuses to settle down with just one moniker or record label. He's been known as Mokira, Lowfour, Komp, Rechord, and, of course, Andreas Tilliander, and has been hopscotching between Euro-techno imprints Raster-Noton, Mitek, Klanggalerie, Resopal, and Mille Plateaux. Luckily for us, the click-tronic master has committed to a North American tour.

Tilliander recently received a Swedish Grammy award for his album World Industries, which happened to be his fourth full-length release of 2004! Unlike our own Grammys, those Swedes seem to appreciate minimal house mixed with whispers of broken beat, drum & bass and dub.

The month-long tour begins tonight in Los Angeles, with a show that pairs Tilliander with fellow Scandinavian hot shot Vladislav Delay (as Luomo). It includes two back-to-back dates in Montr�al, the current North American capital of minimal techno.
