Belle and Sebastian to Sell Benefit Live Album on iTunes

Hopeless unbelievers take heart: while missing Belle and Sebastian perform the glorious entirety of If You're Feeling Sinister in London this September may have left you feeling a bit, um, sini...oh nevermind..., the band plans to administer to your pain this holiday season. How so, asks you? With an iTunes-exclusive live recording!

Not just any bouncing bundle of digital joy, this iBaby packs megabyte, documenting every moment of the now-legendary September 25, 2005 Belle & Sebastian gig at London's Barbican. All Tomorrow's Parties held the show as part of their Don't Look Back series which featured prominent acts like Gang of Four, the Stooges, and Cat Power performing prominent albums all the way through. Rough Trade will make the live performance of Pitchfork's fourteenth favourite record of the 1990s available December 6 via iTunes.

And you won't be the only one administered to, as all proceeds from Sinister download sales will go to the UK's Disasters Emergency Committee "Asia Quake Appeal", dedicated to providing support to victims of the recent earthquake in Pakistan, India, and Afghanistan.

While any self-respecting indie pop aficionado should have it memorized, here's the round-up for If You're Feeling Sinister: Live at the Barbican:
