Page France Tour in Advance of New EPs

Is 2005 the year of the ecclesiastical indie rocker? Take that one up with Seņor Sufjan, Castanets, um, 13 & God, and Michael Nau of Page France. The latter, as you may or may not know, recently released Hello, Dear Wind, a subtle and pleasant delve into Christian pop-folk, delivered to us via Fall Records. Sage Francis, on the other hand, is anything but subtle and pleasant.

Page France are headed out in support of Hello, Dear Wind starting next week, with a full-on maiden US tour expected to follow in March and April, including a stop at SXSW.

Can we get an amen?:

12-11 College Park, MD - WMUC Third Rail Radio
12-13 Lansing, MI - Mac's Bar
12-14 Muskegon, MI - Roosevelt Park Community Center
12-15 Columbus, OH - High Five Bar
12-16 Detroit, MI - TBA
01-03 Baton Rouge, LA - Red Star Bar
01-05 Newport, KY - Southgate House
01-07 Nashville, TN - The Muse
01-08 Arlington, VA - Galaxy Hut
01-09 Pittsburgh, PA - The Shadow Lounge
01-11 Charlottesville, VA - Twisted Branch Tea Bazaar
01-17 Baltimore, MD - The Talking Head
01-20 Greensboro, NC - University of North Carolina
01-28 Fredonia, NY - The Possum House

Nau is clearly more ambitious than most 21-year-olds (what with the wanting to get into heaven and all), as Page France have already started recording the first of three EPs due out in 2006. To the Control Room, Children and its two successors will serve as a precursor to yet another full length album, which will strike at the end of 2006. Unless, of course, the second coming arrives before then, which might throw a wrench in the band's plans.
