Get Him Eat Him Announce First Headlining Tour

It's the question lurking in the back of every Pitchfork obsessive's mind: Where's Matt LeMay? We miss him! Nobody else likes Frog Eyes and Destroyer nearly enough 'round these parts anymore.

Well, kids, Matt's been busy. He's got this band, Get Him Eat Him, and they released their debut album, Geography Cones, on Absolutely Kosher last summer. And starting Friday in Philadelphia, the Providence five-piece will head out on their first headlining tour. The trek takes them to sixteen cities in sixteen nights, winding up at a magical place in Pittsburgh called the Wizard Hollow.

01-07 Charlottesville, VA - Twisted Branch Tea Bazaar
01-08 Washington, DC - Warehouse Next Door

To tide fans over until Get Him Eat Him's next album (or until Matt's next review), the band will be selling their new EP, Do as I Tell You, on the road. Released in a limited edition of 200 copies on Catbird Records (the label arm of the mp3 blog the Catbirdseat), the EP is packaged in a "hand-screened Arigato Pak with handmade googly-eyed insert", according to the label. Get Them Love Them.
