Wooden Wand Launches Tour Tonight

Wooden Wand (aka James Jackson Toth) is pulling a vanishing act on his backing band, Vanishing Voice, for the time being. Starting tonight in Dayton, the itinerant freak-folker will spend the week touring in support of his latest solo album, Harem of the Sundrum & the Witness Figg, on Soft Abuse, the WW&VV; album The Flood on Troubleman Unlimited, as well as the 30 other things he's probably released in the last month.

In the course of the tour's six dates, Wooden Wand will touch base with a galaxy of free spirits, including noize-folkies the Double, scruffy hippies Akron/Family, and gee-tar picker Jack Rose.
