Broken Social Scene Kick Off World Tour Tonight

Pitchfork's own David Nadelle said it best when, upon Broken Social Scene's tour kick off last October, he wrote, "Isn't it great that Broken Social Scene are finally headlining venues where there are more people in the audience than on stage?" Yes, yes it is.

Fortunately for fans of the not-so-open-mic concert-going experience, BSS launches yet another gigantic, classy-venued trek tonight in Toronto. After only two shows way up north, BSS will make their way to New York City for a three-night stint at Webster Hall, break for a week, head to Europe, tour pretty much daily for a month, and finally, head down under to Australia. Three continents--one for each BSS album.
